If you are inviting a lot of guests who have children you may decide to have entertainment just for them. Maybe a puppet show, balloon artist, face painter or even a clown to keep them happy. This way the parents can relax and enjoy themselves knowing that their children are being taken care of.

Have a disposable camera on each table so the guests can take a memento home, or you could have a friend take pictures of the guests with a polaroid camera as they enter the reception or while seated at their tables. These can be given to your guests at the time, or posted to them with a thank you note later.
