Wedding Music
Like wedding
magicians, many bands and groups should be booked
5-6 months before the wedding to avoid dissapointment.
Obvioulsy the musicians you book should suit the type
of wedding you are after. For example if your wedding
is going to be very formal, a heavy metal band would
probably be unsuitable. Likewise, a string quartet would
probably be out of place at a very casual wedding reception.
It's always worth asking
bands if they have any experience playing at weddings.
Performing at a wedding is quite different to playing
at pubs and clubs. You should also find out what they
will need in regards to space and electric sockets etc.
